Son of Indonesian Diplomat Killed in Russia Car Crash
The son of an Indonesian Embassy staff member was killed in a car accident on Sunday in Moscow, Russia.
An embassy official told Russian media, RIA Novosti, on Monday to correct previous news that reported the victim was the son of Indonesian Ambassador, Hamid Awalludin.
The accident occurred on Borovskoye Highway near Moscow. The Indonesian man was driving a Honda Civic car. The other car was a Zhiguli. The driver of the Zhiguli, a Russian policeman, was also killed on the scene. Besides the drivers, two other people were also killed in the crash but they were not identified.
The Indonesian embassy’s website did not publish any news about the accident and the embassy was not available for comment.
